An Quick Overview
A basic ad on Rogue and Poet is 200 x 200 pixels. I’m selling this size ad for $2.00 per 1,000 impressions. For example my page views for thirty days are averaging around 6,500. I’m discounting the first 1,000 page views so I would “bill” for 5,500 page views. So, an ad running for thirty days would have cost $11.00. Larger/taller ads run a penny a pixel for the additional height.
A few additions:
- Your ad will run on just about every page I have.
- Your ads will link to your companies website.
- I will do a front page write up on you to announce that you’ve chosen to become a sponsor of the site.
- Any “events” (something out of the ordinary) you throw will be given front page notice.
- Changing your ad is free of charge.
- Rogue and Poet only accepts advertising from local Rogue Valley owned and operated businesses.
- Ads are placed in the sidebars only; no "pop up" or "banner" ads are accepted.
Why choose to advertise on Rogue and Poet
Rogue and Poet is an internet magazine or "e-zine" in the modern parlance. While a print magazine is published (usually) monthly, Rogue and Poet is a magazine that updates and adds new content on a nearly daily basis. In this way it is a highly specialized site. It's focus on the Rogue Valley and Arts and Entertainment gives area advertisers an internet portal to people who are local and interested in knowing about, and being a part of, the areas artistic community. Beyond just getting your message out an ad on Rogue and Poet, by default, positions your company as one that supports the local arts scene, a double benefit.
