Singer - songwriter Don Howell has a fascinating history as a musician. A trombone player in the service he went on to play in a variety of situations - in bands and orchestras. His beginnings as a songwriter had more to do with entertaining his kids than thoughts of a perfomance or recording career.
Currently Don is becoming a well recognised Rogue Valley entertainer - his songs are sincere and heartfelt and his music is flavored by his long and diverse associations with jazz - blues and big band compositions. He's ben playing at several Grants Pass venues including The Brewery - Dancing Otter and and at the Taprock. Also in the works is a collaboration with John and Heidi Eyler in an (as yet to be named ) original project. You will defintely be kept informed of all developments as they come in.
